Summer Bridge for New Families

For our new families to Eagle Academy, welcome!  Your scholar is invited to our Summer Bridge program, happening from July 

Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

On Friday, June 21, the Class of 2024 attended their commencement ceremony at Lehman College.  Beginning Tuesday, 6/25, graduating seniors can pick up diplomas, report cards, and transcripts.

Since opening in 2004, there are now Eagle Academies in all five boroughs, plus Newark, New Jersey.

Summer Bridge 2024 Monday July 15 through Thursday, July 15

Summer Bridge is the orientation program for incoming Eagles. It is mandatory that all students who will attend Eagle Academy attend Summer Bridge so that they can begin to become acquainted with The Eagle Academy for Young Men’s standards, expectations and culture.

What happens during Summer Bridge?

Students have abbreviated academic classes and electives. They learn about Eagle’s house system and school policies and commit to our school pledges and affirmations.  Students also begin to understand the expectations of the Eagle Community.

When is Summer Bridge?

8:30AM - 12:30PM, Monday through Thursday.  On Thursday, July 25, we will have our Stepping Up Ceremony at 10:00AM where parents and families are invited to celebrate the end of their scholar’s Summer Bridge journey.

High School Senior Graduation • Friday, June 21

The high school Class of 2024 will be celebrated on Friday, June 21 at 10:00am at Lehman College.

Tickets are required for entry and all seniors will receive a set amount of tickets.  Tickets are distributed with caps and gowns.

Parking is available for $10 per vehicle.

Bronx Basketball Champions Winter 2023-2024

Our 2024 Bronx Borough Championship Boys Basketball team secured the borough title on Saturday, February 17 under the leadership of head coach Roosevelt Byers.  Read the feature in an article on Dave's Joint.  The varsity basketball team went undefeated in the regular season earning the #3 seed city-wide.

After-School High School with NYJTL

After-school is available for high school students with our CBO partner, the New York Junior Tennis League (NYJTL).  The program is open to students in grades 9 through 12.

Offerings include academic enrichment, culinary, tennis, video production, leadership, eSports, podcasting, and gaming concepts.

The program runs daily from 3pm to 6pm at the school.
