Our Mission: Preparing for College and Career

At Eagle Bronx, our responsibility is to guide scholars and their families through some of the most significant life and financial decisions. With our support, students will:

• Explore potential majors and careers that align with their interests and abilities.

• Collaborate to secure strong letters of recommendation.

• Register for and practice the SAT/ACT.

• Apply for financial aid and scholarships to reduce college costs.

• Build a personalized list of colleges, including SUNY, CUNY, and private institutions.

• Complete impactful college admissions essays.

• Attend college fairs and information sessions to discover new opportunities.

• Prepare for a smooth transition to life after Eagle Academy.

At Eagle Bronx, we believe that every scholar is more than capable of achieving greatness. Together with the Student Leadership Network, we challenge and change the entrenched narratives that label Black and Brown young men as problems. Instead, we work to illuminate their brilliance, resilience, and potential to become leaders and innovators in every field they pursue.

We provide hands-on support to ensure our scholars are well-prepared for the college application process. Services include:

• Personalized college lists based on interests, financial needs, and goals.

• Application workshops for SUNY, CUNY, and private colleges.

• Guidance on FAFSA, TAP, and other financial aid applications.

• Essay-writing workshops and one-on-one editing sessions.
